K, so this is the house- it is in a neighborhood in Traverse Mountain at the north end of Lehi (the same exit as Thanksgiving Point)- the downside for me is that it is a cookie cutter neighborhood- they all look the same; but we loved the inside so much, we were willing to overlook this- the other downside- we will be living on a hill...)
This is what it looks like when you walk through the front door...
The stairs are so beautiful; we practically bought the house just for them!
The kitchen is HUGE and it has granite countertops- BONUS!!
This is the pantry- and Lucas is holding open the door to the basement...
This is the half bath that is on the main floor...
This is a shot from the corner of the master bedroom (on the main floor)- Lucas is in the bathroom and there is a sliding door to the back yard here...
Nice, huge master bath- again granite countertops!!!
This is the jetted tub and shower- sorry it is fuzzy, I didn't realize that it was when I took this picture, but you get the idea!
Nice, big walk-in closet!
This is the entry to the backyard from the master bedroom- yes, I know it is a small backyard...
We need to do some work back here...eventually!
This is the view of the living room from the upstairs balcony- Shawn just keeps envisioning Christmas morning...
Laundry room upstairs..
Kids bathroom upstairs- nice and big- the toilet is in it's own room and there is a large linnen closet here as well!
Lucas's room- one of the one's that faces the street...
Abby's room- she wanted a picture with her window- her's is the other room that faces the street...
The third bedroom upstairs: kids play room/future baby's room/ guest room
What the upstairs closets look like
The stairs to the basement
From the bottom of the stairs
Huge future family room
Another view of the future family room- the photo didn't turn out great, so I didn't post it, but behind where I was stading to take this picture is a huge storage room...
Future 1 or 2 bedrooms
future hallway and bathroom.
Well, as you can see, there is a lot of work for us to do, over time, with this house...but we are super excited about it...I am still shocked that we can even afford it! We signed contract papers today and we will close on June 1st- then we will be official home owners! YAY!
