Ever have one of those days?

You know what I mean, the days where you just don't do anything right? The more and the harder you try, the stupider things you say and do? I am just having one of those days and feeling bad about myself. I don't know why I am posting it on my blog, so much as to just have an outlet for it. So, sorry, nothing happy and fun today, I am just wallowing . . . sorry!

Lucas and Abby doing "Karate"

So, we just finished watching the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie and during the credits was this song and Lucas didn't want us to turn it off, instead he wanted to dance to it with his cool "ninja" moves, and then, of course, Abby had to join in the fun! Enjoy!

For those of you having "Star Wars Kid" flashbacks, don't feel bad, I did too!

Shawn isn't in it until toward the end, but it is his company . . . you can see what a difficult job he has!!!

I let the Kids handle the camera for once . . . not bad, but kinda scary!!!

Lucas took this one yesterday- sorry about all of the back light . . .

Abby did this one . . .

Abby took this one today . . .

Lucas took this one . . .
All in all, not too bad, but it does make me nervous to hand over the camera to them, but they get such joy out of it and I keep a close eye *crossed fingers that I don't get lax*!

Tagged again! I love it, though!

Okay so I have been tagged by my friend Amy. Enjoy!

5 things on my To Do List.

1. Clean my house- I hate cleaning!
2. Finish reading the book for Shawn and his Dad's book club (they would never say that they have a book club, but we occasionally read the same book and talk about it whenever- but there are no set dates and meetings, just whenever)
3. Play with my kids (I will admit, sometimes I have to remind myself to do it- it can be so easy to just turn on the TV and do my own thing while they watch it- I really need to prioritize this!)
4. Plant my garden (Not quite yet, but I have stuff to do to get it ready)
5. Write in my journal (I am horrible at this!)

5 jobs I have had.

1. Worked at a kennel in high school (I loved it and it was where I gained a lot of my useless knowledge about dogs and my love of them- I wanted to be a vet, but my allergies and intelligence were a barrier!)
2. McDonald's for two years as a teenager (I still sometimes have dreams where I work there- too weird!)
3. Los Hermanos server and bar tender (I hated the server part- people in Utah Valley don't seem to understand the concept of tipping- but the bartending was really fun!- For those of you who don't know about Los Hermanos is that they aren't alcoholic drinks, they are more like fruit smoothies that I would make)
4. Off-Campus Housing inspector for BYU housing

5. Receptionist for the best Medcial Spa in town!

5 places I've lived.

1. Broomfield, CO
2. Henderson, NV
3. Glendale, AZ
4. Provo, UT
5. Pleasant Grove and Payson, UT (Yeah, that is the total list)

5 favorite snacks.

1. CHOCOLATE
2. Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby Ice Cream
3. Popcorn
4. Cookies (Favorite are Oreo's dipped in Milk)
5. Cinnamon Bears (I have had a thing for them lately)

5 things I would do if I were a billionaire.

1. Buy a house with space for an art studio for Shawn so that he could work from home
2. Make sure that there was a fund for each of my kids for college, missions, weddings, etc.
3. TRAVEL
4. Buy an AWESOME car (don't ask me which one, it changes all of the time!)
5. Get massages every day

5 things you may not know about me.

1. I am completely clutzy- if I am walking down a hallway in a straight line, the chances are good that I will bump into the wall for no reason, or if I am walking through a doorway, I will almost every time hit the doorway with my shoulder (maybe my shoulders are bigger than I think they are)
2. I am addicted to exercising at Curves, if I week goes by that I don't go, I feel fat and tired and weak.
3. I like to write- most of you don't know this because I would die before I let you read anything I have written because I know it is terrible- but I dream of one day writing a book that I would be proud to share with all of you.
4. I am very good with technological things- Shawn doesn't even know how to work his cell phone totally because I have it all set up for him! (He could, I know, but he doesn't bother because I enjoy it so much!)
5. I constantly suffer from headaches- I don't know why, but I can't remember the last day that I went without taking some advil and or tylenol to get me though the day because my head is always throbbing.

(I decided to add this one, just for fun!) 5 things I LOVE:
1. The feeling when my kids give me a big hug!
2. The smell of rain
3. The sound of my children's laughter
4. The crunch of leaves under my feet in the fall
5. Every night after we put the kids to bed, Shawn and I take the back pillows off of the couch and spoon/snuggle while we watch TV together- it is my favorite time of the day.

Well, there you go. I tag Ruth, Slish, Shelley, Mom and Dad, and Sherri.

Pretty, Pretty Princesses

So, there is this game that my cousin, Melissa, got for Abby as an Easter present called "Pretty, Pretty Princess where you collect and put on princess jewelry and try to get the crown. Shawn played it with Melissa and the kids- I just couldn't resist taking some pictures!

Mustache March

So, we noticed that some of you were quite impressed with Shawn's mustache in the previous entry, well, there is a reason for the hideousness. Last month it was Mustache March at Shawn's work (it was, of course, his idea), so we decided to also take some family photos with fake mustaches on me and the kids, we hope you enjoy them! By the way, Shawn didn't win the contest, but he did get "looks the oldest" as a prize. For the final judging he had shaved off the fumanchu thingy and just went with the hideous Magnum PI look, hope you enjoy it!

Easter (A week late)

I just wanted to share this, it is over three minutes, so if you get bored, that is all good! Mostly it is for my parents who weren't able to be here for Easter- I thought you might enjoy seeing the kids search for eggs . . . I wish we had been able to do it outside, but it was snowy, so the basement of Cory and Sherri's house is where it happened!
