Lucas went to his first day of First Grade on Thursday- I barely slept the night before worry about the fact that he was taking the bus for the first time and worry about him making it home safely... also, the general worry about him making friends and doing well in school...
It was a chilly morning despite it being mid-august, Abby was so excited to see her brother get on the school bus and Lucas was too excited to ride the bus to have us take him to school... I couldn't take it, though, so I went to the school and got there early to see him off of the bus and safely to his classroom...
He was so brave- no worries at all- I am so proud of him!!!

Awww!! I love it! Seeing him in that last picture waving on the bus really set in for me too how grown up he is. Did he enjoy his first day of school?

wow!! Where has the time gone? I remember when he started nursery. He is such a darling little boy. I didn't sleep either the night before Kali first day of 1st grade. I guess us moms think alike.
