Backyard camping!

So, this past Friday night we decided to set up the tent in the backyard for the kids to sleep in!We made Hobo dinners in the oven and roasted smores over the BBQ!
The kids took a little while to go to bed!
We grew curious when they were actually quiet for a while, it turned out that they were reading to themselves- it was so cute!


Finally they went to sleep at 11:00, then at 1:30, Lucas had a nightmare and came inside to go to bed. So, then at 4:30, Abby woke up enough to see that Lucas wasn't there anymore and started screaming. I came outside and she was sobbing and said, "Lucas disdappeared!" She was so distraught. I calmed her down and told her that Lucas went to bed inside and asked her if she wanted to come in also. She said no! She is such a brave little toaster! She only stayed out another 5 minutes before giving up and coming inside and going to bed, but at least she tried, for a 3 year old, I am dang proud of her!

They are growing so fast!

So, both yesterday and today the kids got their own cereal!!! I think this is a major milestone and I am so proud of them!!! They are growing up way too fast!!!Abby poured the milk BEFORE they poured the cereal! Classic!

T-ball time is here again!!!

We LOVE t-ball time! It is the funniest time of the year! The kids are always doing the funniest things and they won't listen to you if your life depended on it! Lucas did pretty good, but he did get upset when other kids kept "catching" the ball when he wanted to, I had to give him a talking to for hitting them with his mitt . . . ah, the joys!


We took even more pictures than this, but I figured this was as much as you would want to see!

Abby!

The kids started swimming lessons this week and, as yet, I keep forgetting to take the camera and get pictures of them actually swimming, but I did take this one of Abby playing by our kiddie pool in the backyard after swim lessons!
I couldn't get her to take it off- she actually wore it most of the day, but she sure is cute in it!

Catch up time!

Okay, so a couple of weeks ago we went to southern Cali for Shawn's brother(Alex)'s college graduation. I didn't post the photos for a bit because I wanted everytone to see Shawn's Kefling video, but I am sure you have seen it by now, so I am finally posting . . .

Abby looked so pretty that day and both of the kids were really great during the ceremony- I attribute it to weekly training at church!

After the graduation we played at the park, Lucas found some interesting things to do to pass the time!

The day after the graduation we went to the famous Chinese Theater where they have all of the premiers- we got an AWESOME parking space, but other than the footprints, there didn't seem to be too much else to do, so we didn't stay long.

Abby was so brave to get her picture taken with Spider Man!

Isn't she cute! Lucas was too scared to do it!

These are the Harry Potter foot, hand, and wand prints! I am Ron (Rupert), Drew is Harry (Daniel), and Emma is Hermione (Emma)!

This isn't in California, this is the other day at home, but I wanted to add it because Lucas looks cute! Before you think that I am an overprotective Mom, you need to understand that on that day alone he had already scraped up his hands, both knees, and one elbow- the kid unfortunately inherited his smooth coordination from me- Sorry Lucas!
