So, today Shawn and I were doing the dishes when suddenly Shawn yelled and ran into the living room where he proceeded to beat Abby with the towel he was fortuitously holding. Why was he doing this? Because she had decided that she wanted to see what her pretty hair would look like when it was combined with that pretty flame of the candle that I had lit!!! Fortunately she wasn't hurt in any way- it is tough to see from the top picture you can kind of see what her hair looked like when the ordeal was over (I didn't stop to take a photo of her hair in fire, sorry). The saddest part is that we had to cut off several inches of her beautiful hair and now she has lost her curl that she had at the ends!!!

Hey welcome back! We've missed you! And thank goodness you were able to save all your pictures -I bet you were sweatin' about that. :)
So a hair fire, huh? Wow! That'll add some excitement to an otherwise dull afternoon. Glad she wasn't hurt. Her hair still looks beautiful. Gosh, if Lexi even had half of Abbey's hair... sigh.
I LOVE reading your blog!!! It's so great knowing what's going on with you guys and I love seeing the kids. They are sooo cute.
I can't believe abby caught her hair on fire. How scary. Luckily it's long so now she's not bald.
I'm going to look up a pumpkin patch up here in Phoenix now. That looked like allot of fun. I can't wait to see your post of the kids in their Halloween costumes!
